Five men arrested by the Gauteng police for the possession of explicit child abuse material have all appeared in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an operation code-named \u201cMoonlight\u201d, police officials, working with the US Department of Homeland Security, apprehended the alleged sexual predators in Pretoria and Kempton Park over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joanne Joseph spoke to colonel Brenda Muridili to find out more about the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of them have already appeared in court, we are not mentioning their names as we are still investigating as to the material that has been confiscated – if we will be able to identify some of those children as South African children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
