Welcome To The Tryst
A space that sparks creative collaboration, hosts inspiring events, and
offers marketing solutions to ignite any company, no matter the size.
Mark Sham of Suits & Sneakers, and his business partner, Nicola Fenn
have finally opened the doors of their Hybrid Eventing Venue & Studio,
The Tryst.
The duo launched the space based in Woodlands Office Park, Woodmead
Jhb last week with a double-header of trend talks by John Sanei and
Richard Mullholland. The launch was attended by a small
(socially-distanced) audience of 100 people but was also streamed live to
onlookers from around the world. A feature that The Tryst will offer to
businesses looking for Hybrid Eventing solutions in the future.
“The Tryst isn’t just a business to me, it’s my life’s work.\u201d explains Mark
Sham, \u201cAnd it’s a chance to create unlimited value for the world. But the
lessons in getting this space up and running are equally powerful. It
serves as the perfect reminder that sometimes you can’t always see how
things will come together, and the value lies in putting one foot in front of
the other, and never giving up\u2026 18 months ago, we had nothing. And
now we have The Tryst.”

The Tryst is a space that promotes creating connections through creative
\ncontent, and offers multiple studio options for video and live-streaming,
\npodcasts, and photographic content creation. The venue also boasts an
\narray of live event spaces that are fully customisable depending on the
\nkind of event (and audience) you would like to host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the spearhead of the marketing arm, Nicola Fenn brings her marketing
wisdom to The Tryst with creative and strategic marketing solutions, no<\/p>\n\n\n\n

matter the size of the business. – \u201cI\u2019ve always loved marketing and
\npsychology and I wondered how I could merge the two together,\u201d says
\nNicola, \u201cAt The Tryst, we work on projects that we are passionate about\u2026
\nWe produce inspirational content that adds value so that our audience
\nreally feels it. We\u2019ve set up our creative content hub so that we can help
\nclients bring their stories to life whether it’s strategy and marketing,
\nvideography, studio work, podcasting or hybrid eventing. The Tryst is all
\nabout passion, connection and creating relationships between the
\nspeakers and their audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tryst is also the official home to the duo\u2019s CSI Initiative, #SACITZENSUnite <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yes, they admit that this is the baby they are
