Riley, daughter of an\nunemployed single mother has a life-threatening medical condition and urgently\nneeds surgery. A concerned family member has taken Riley to a specialist doctor\nin Pretoria and the medical report has left the family devastated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctors Report<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPatient present on the 8 February\n2021 with severe Scoliosis deformity. The normal curvature of the spine as seen\nfrom the front is 0. This patient demonstrates a curve of 104, which is extremely\nsevere and life threatening. If not operated, the heart and lung will be\ncompressed and eventually the patient will die of respiratory failure and heart\nfailure. Correction of the spinal deformity with a fusion and instrumentation is\nessential as an emergency procedure\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procedure excluding further\nmedical care and two-year rehabilitation will cost 1 Million Rand. Hope to Heal\nFoundation was contacted for support to source a Doctor who will offer their\nservice pro-bono and to fund-raise for the procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the economic impact resulting\nfrom the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a challenge to fund-raise. We are reaching out\nto Corporate SA and the public at large for your kind support to donate towards\nRiley\u2019s procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
