Due to the challenge faced to get support for\nfood hampers for the Community Support Centre in Belhar, Western Cape, we\ndecided to take the next step and that is to feed the children. We started with\n300 children and the demand has increased beyond means of this poor communities,\nwe are now feeding over 1000 adults and children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food hampers will keep the community\nsafe at home but being home safe with no food is a crisis, many are faced<\/strong>\nwith<\/strong>. In the interim, we will continue to feed the community ensuring\nsafety measures are applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cannot do this on our own and need your\nsupport. This programme desperately needs financial support and sponsors to\nsustain the programme. We are welcoming corporate, people in the private sector\nand Faith Based Organisations, to come on board by sponsoring \/ donating to\nsustain the feeding programme. Donations of groceries, eg rice, pasta,\nvegetables, mince, meat, bread etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember, this is the only meal they\nhave for the day<\/strong>. You will be giving this community HOPE\nthrough your kind contribution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion<\/strong>, I think its abundantly apparent that, due to a\ndemand that, more often than not, far out ways supply- we find ourselves\nincreasingly pushing the envelope with every outreach, trying to keep up and\nfeed every person that needs assistance but try though, we must and always\nwill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This programme is in desperate need of financial support and\nsponsors to sustain the programmes,\nthat reach a plethora of vulnerable communities across Johannesburg and the\nWestern Cape. So, we humbly urge and welcome the corporate and private sector to come on board and partner with us. Including food\nmanufacturers & distributors, willing to sponsor\nbread, rice, pasta, vegetables, meal and chicken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
